This provided her with unique experiences of Pacifica culture, through which she developed a deep appreciation of Pacifica Arts & Music. Until retiring in 2016, Barbara was with the British Consulate General in Auckland for 17 years, firstly as Trade Officer, and then some 10 years as Deputy Director of Trade and Hon. Vice-Consul. During that time she travelled extensively representing British business interests not only encouraging trade with NZ, but also interfacing with buyers and business ventures around the globe. Barbara has a deep appreciation of what appeals to various sectors of the consumer market.
